No. 270.-It is hereby notified that a meeting of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the Colony will be held at the Magistracy, at 2.15 p.m., on Friday, the 7th May, 1909, for the purpose of considering the following application under the Liquor Licences Ordinances, 8 of 1898 and 8 of 1908, viz. :-
From one SOPHIA MAYER for the transfer to her from one B. MAYER of the publican's licence to sell by retail intoxicating liquors on premises numbered 1, Jubilee Street, under the sign of "The Colonial Hotel ".

No. 271.-It is hereby notified that the following Sales of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Land Office, Tai Po, at 10 a.m., on Saturday, the 8th day of May, 1909.
The Lots are sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Kent, Lot No. 844 as a Threshing floor, and Lots Nos. 1090 and 4148 as Building Lots, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906 and to the special condition hereunder specified.
