EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.
No. 190.
Order made by the Governor-in-Council under Section 2 of the Trees Preservation Ordinance, 1888, (Ordinance No. 4 of 1898), this 15th day of March, 1909.
It is hereby ordered that an additional rate of 8 per cent. per annum, to take effect from the 1st day of July, 1909, be levied on the villagers of Chai Wan in consequence of the destruction of trees in that place and its neighbourhood.
