It is hereby notified that HIROSHI MORISHITA, who is doing his business under the style of MORISHITA & Co., at Bingomachi 2-chome, Higashiku, Osaka, Japan, has complied with the requirements of Ordinance 6 of 1898, for the registration in this Colony of his Mark No. 11 of 1909, as applied to Medical articles and patent medicine, in Class 3 ; and that the same has been duly registered.

HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT.
No. 60.-The Master of the Japanese Steamship Shebata Maru reports that at 11.30 a.m. on the 22nd January, 1909, when in Lat. 22°.164 N. Long. 114°.47 E. with Single Island bearing N. 41° W. (Magnetic) 11 miles off he sighted the upper part of a small vessel's lower mast head, about 12 feet out of the water, with some heavy body attached keeping it quite erect.
No. 61. It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:-
On Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday, the 4th, 5th, 8th and 9th Feb. :-
From Lyemun F.C. in a North-Easterly direction, at ranges up to 6,000 yards,
commencing at 3 p.m., and finishing at 10 p.m.
If the weather is unfavourable on any of the above dates, practice will take place on the following day.
All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.
