NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of

Section 179 of the Companies' Ordin- ance 1865 that a General Meeting of the Members of the above named Company will be held at No. 79 Rue du Consulat Shanghai on Saturday the 27th day of February 1909 at 11 o'clock in the forenoon for the purpose of having an account laid before them show- ing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the Company disposed of, and of having any explanation that may be given by the Li- quidator and also of determining by Extra- ordinary Resolution the manner in which the books accounts and documents of the Com- pany and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given that Messrs. SAN-

DER WIELER AND COMPANY carrying on business at Victoria in the Colony of Hong- kong and elsewhere as Merchants have, on the 25th day of November, 1908, applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Mark :-

The representation of two ducks on a river, of Chinese landscape with a Pagoda on both sides and of some mountains in the back ground,

in the name of Messrs. SANDER WIELER AND COMPANY who claim to be the proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark is intended to be used by the Applicants forthwith in respect of the following goods

two parts by a broad horizontal white line there being upon the upper divided portion two shields having upon the one to the left a horse stand- ing upon its hind legs and upon the shield to the right a lion also stand- ing upon its hind legs and resting its left fore-leg upon a smaller shield which has an anchor upon it, the space around the shields and also the space below the horizontal line being coloured black. Printed upon the upper portion of the inner broad line appear the words "Badische Anilin-& Soda-Fabrik ",

in the name of the BADISCHE ANILIN AND SODA FABRIK who claim to be the sole pro- prietors thereof.

The Trade Mark has been used by the Ap- plicants in respect of the following goods :-

Aniline Dyes, in Class 4.
