Inspections outside Manila harbour from 20th April. Third class passengers and new crew must comply with the vaccination requirements.

Inspections outside the ports from 1st April. Steerage passengers must comply with the vaccination require- ments. Cabin passengers must produce a vaccina- tion certificate or be vaccinated by ships doctor or quarantine anthorities.

Vessels detained at river month and passengers and crew vaccinated unless they can produce evidence of successful recent vaccination.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 383.-It is hereby notified that on and after Tuesday, the 3rd January, 1928, the Supply of Water to all the Rider Main Districts will be controlled by bringing the Rider Mains into operation and that Water will be turned on to each Rider Main daily for Two Consecutive Hours. Information as to the Hours of Supply to any Parti- cular Property may be obtained on application at the Office of the Water Authority, the Secretariat for Chinese Affairs, or at the Tung Wah Hospital.
