Short title.

Amendment of Ordinance No. 21 of 1909, s. 2.

Substitution

INTITULED

An Ordinance to amend the Railways Ordi-

nauce, 1909.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Railways Amendment Ordinance, 1927.

2. Section 2 of the Railways Ordinance, 1909, is amended as follows:

(a) The word "administrator" is substituted for the

word administration" in paragraph (a).

(b) The following paragraph is added to the defini-

tion of "Kailway in paragraph (d) :-

(v) any railway or portion of a railway in

process of construction;

(vi) all works connected with or for the pur- poses of a railway authorized to be con- structed.

3. The Railways Ordinance, 1909, is amended by the

thereof;

(i) section 15, in the first line thereof;

(j) section 19, in the fifth line thereof;

(k) section 20, in the first and fifth lines thereof;

(1) section 21, in the first line thereof;

(m) section 22, in the first and eleventh lines there-

of;

(n) section 23, in the first line thereof;

(o) section 24, in the third, fourth and nineteenth

lines thereof;

(p) section 25, in the first line thereof;
