Application for Registration of Trade Marks.

NOTICE is hereby given that The General Electric Company, Limited of Magnet House, Kingsway, London W.C. 2, have, on the 16th day of April, 1921, 6th day of October, 1926, 30th day of July, 1926 and 18th day of March, 1927, applied for registration in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Marks :—

in the name of The General Electric Company, Limited, who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.

The Trade Marks have been used by the Applicants as follows:-

As to Mark No. 1 in respect of Apparatus for Wireless Telegraphy, in particular, yalves for apparatus for wireless telegraphy in Class 8 Electric lamps in Class 8 are excluded.

As to Marks Nos. 2 and 3 in respect of Domestic and Industrial machinery, such as steam, oil and gas engines; gas generators and steam boilers in Class 6.

In respect of apparatus for useful purposes, such as telegraphic instruments and apparatus, wireless apparatus, and the like, tele- phones and telephonic apparatus in Class 8.

In respect of Engineering contrivances for buildings, such as warming apparatus including electrical stoves and radiators; Ventilating apparatus, such as electrical Fans and electrical bells in Class 18.

NOTICE is hereby given that General

Motors Corporation, a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of Delaware, doing business in the General Motors Building, West Grand Boulevard and Cass Avenue, in the City of Detroit, County of Wayne, State of Michigan, United States of America, have, on the 26th day of January, 1927, applied for registration in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark :

in the name of General Motors Corporation, who claim to be the proprietors thereof,

The Trade Mark has been used by the Ap- plicants since 7th August, 1926, in respect of the following goods :-

Automobiles, their structural parts

and accessories, in Class 22. The Applicants disclaim the right to the exclusive use of the letters "La S"

per se.

Application for Registration of a Trade Mark.

NOTICE is hereby given that Pratt & Lambert, Inc, located and doing busi- ness at 73 to 97, Tonawanda Street, in the City of Buffalo, County of Erie, State of New York, United States of America, have, on the 31st day of August, 1927, applied for registration in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks,

In respect of refrigerating chests and woodware of the following Trade Mark:---

in Class 50.

In each class goods consisting of or containing a magnet are exclud-

ed.

As to Mark No. 2 in respect of all ordinary electric goods not con-

sisting of or containing a magnet in Class 13.

As to Mark No. 4 in respect of glass, in particular, globes and shades, and not necessarily sheet and plate glass in Class 15.

Trade Marks Nos. 2 and 3 are to be associated one with the other in each class and also with Trade Mark No. 50 of 1912.
