18. Section 14 of the Ordinance gives the police power to search any place or vessel where there is reason to believe that an unregistered watchmau is employed.

19. Section 15 of the Ordinance provides for the method of recovery of sums payable under the Ordinance.

20. Section 16 provides that in any proceeding against any person under the Ordinance it shall be presumed until the contrary is proved that such person is not of Chinese This presumption is inserted in consequence of the of general exemption from the Ordinance of persons Chinese race.
