No. S. 267.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for providing and fixing boundary stones to lots", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 24th day of Octo- ber, 1927, for providing and fixing boundary stones to lots in the Colony of Hong Kong, Kowloon, New Kowloon and the New Territories during the year 1928.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Government Furniture", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 24th day of October, 1927, for the supply of Government Furniture as required during the year 1928:

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.

No. S. 269.

It is hereby notified that the first paragraph of Notice to Mariners No. S. 190, pub- lished in Government Gazette of Friday, 16th July, 1926, is hereby rescinded and the following substituted therefor :—

Under Ordinance 10 of 1899, Section 22 (5), it is hereby ordered that during the Typhoon Season .e. July 15th to October 15th each vessel over 60 tons burden laying in Hong Kong Harbour within Harbour Limits shall have on board the following crew :

At least 1 Certificated Deck Officer, Dock crew and Engine Room crew

sufficient to work the anchors and to raise steam."
