It is hereby notified that scaled tenders in triplicate, for the Supply of Winter Uniform to the Harbour Department, will be received at the Colonial Secre- tary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 23rd day of September, 1927. The tenders must be clearly marked "Tender for Winter Uniform, Harbour Department" and must cover the supply and making up of the following articles :--

155 Sailors Jumpers Navy blue Serge.
15 Pairs Trousers for Messengers etc. Navy blue Serge.
15 Jackets for Messengers etc. Navy blue Serge.
15 Suits Boarding Officers' Uniform with Waist coats, Blue Cloth.
155 Flannel fronts for Sailors' Jumpers.
207 Caps, blue cloth with black ribbon marked with gold letters as
required.
6 Peak Caps blue cloth.
200 White covers for part of the above Caps.
56 Pairs Trousers Blue Jean.
56 Jackets Blue Jean.
16 Caps for Boarding Officers with 2 white covers for each.
16 Cap Badges for Boarding Officers as per Sample at Harbour Office.
35 Arm Badges for Coxswains etc. as per samples at Harbour Office.
Navy blue Serge for Sailors and Messengers suits and cloth for Boarding Officers suits will be supplied from the Harbour Department. The tenderer must specify the amount of material required for each article.
No tender will be considered unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $100 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should the tender be accepted.
All uniform must be made to the satisfaction of the Harbour Master, and delivered by 1st November, 1927.
Forms of Tenders and further particulars may be obtained at the Harbour Office.
No tender will be received unless written on the required form.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
