With reference to Notice No. S. 361 published in the Hong Kong Government Gazette of 10th December, 1926, the repairs to Blake Pier have now been completed and the Pier was re-opened to the Public on the 22nd July, 1927.

Declaration of infection against Haiphong withdrawn.

With reference to Harbour Notification No. 9 of 1927, declaring the Ports of Saigon and Haiphong to be cholera infected, and to Harbour Notification No. 11 of 1927, with- drawing the declaration against Saigon, notice is hereby given that the declaration. against Haiphong has been withdrawn and that the medical inspection of vessels from that port has been discontinued.

No. S. 179.--It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly markėd "Tender for Lime", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 2nd day of August, 1927, for the supply and delivery of Lime for water purification purposes.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
