(b) The old section 162 applies only where there is connection with a sewer or drain. The new section will take effect in cases where the dis- charge is into a sump.

(c) Provision is made in sub-section (8) for recover- ing the cost of removal where if has to be done by the Building Authority.

(3) Subsequent directors, whether appointed in immediate succession to any of the first directors or not, shall be appointed in accordance with the constitu- tion, and shall for the time being be deemed to be surcessors in office of the first directors and to be mem- bers of the corporation upon notice of their appoint- ment, and of the retirement of the retiring directors (if any) whom they shall have been appointed to replace, being filed with the Registrar of Companies.
