The Asiatic Emigration Ordinance, 1915.

By His Excellency Sir CECIL CLEMENTI, Knight Commander of the Most Distin- guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same:

Whereas it is provided by section 3 of the Chinese Passengers Act, 1855, that it shall be lawful for the Governor of Hong Kong by proclamation to alter the scales of dietary, medicines, and medical comforts contained in Schedule A to the said Act annexed:

And Whereas by Proclamation (No. 7 of 1904) of the 6th day of July, 1904, the Officer Administering the Government of Hong Kong altered the said scales contained in the said Schedule A :

And Whereas the said scales, altered as aforesaid, are now set forth in regulation 4 (9) in the Sixth Schedule to the Asiatic Emigration Ordinance, 1915, Ordinance No. 30 of 1915:

And Whereas I am satisfied that the said scale of medicines should be again altered as hereinafter appears:

Now therefore I Sir CECIL CLEMENTI, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do hereby by this Proclamation alter the said scale of medicines in the manner appearing in the scale hereunder set forth, which scale shall, from and after the date hereof, be substi- tuted for the said altered scale of medicines set forth in regulation 4 (9) in the said Sixth Schedule to the Asiatic Emigration Ordinance, 1915.
