The rainfall for the month of September at the Botanical Gardens was 6ins. 59 on 19 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 4ins. 41 on 18 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 5ins. 44 on 6 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 636 at 17h. on the 4th.
The maximum squall velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 56 miles per hour at 17h. 16m. on the 19th.
