The Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, Ordinance No. 10 of 1899, Table L,

Quarantine Regulations.

It is hereby declared by order of His Excellency the Governor in Council that Hoihow is a place at which an infections or contagious disease prevails.

No. 472.

Order made by the Governor in Council under section 12 of the Rope Company's Tramway Ordinance, 1901, Ordinance No. 21 of 1901, this 16th day of August, 1927.

In the exercise of the powers vested in him by the provisions of the Rope Company's Tramway Ordinance, 1901, and otherwise His Excellency the Governor in Council is pleased to order and it is hereby ordered and declared that the duration of the rights, powers and privileges granted, made and maintained under the provisions of the Rope Company's Tramway Ordinance, 1901, shall be extended for a period of one year from the 15th day of December, 1927.

No. 473. With reference to Government Notification No. 133 of 3rd March, 1927, it is hereby notified that the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation with the United States of Mexico has been prolonged until the 31st of December, 1927.

No. 474.-The following additions to the list of persons authorised by the Governor to sign medical certificates of the cause of death for the purposes of the Births and Deaths Registration Ordinance, 1896, published in the Gazette of the 6th May, 1927, as Notification No. 271, is published for general information :
