No. 419. His Majesty the KING has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Mr. DALLAS GERALD MERCER BERNARD to be an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council for a period of five years, with effect from 4th April, 1927.

No. 420.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. ROBERT BAKER to act as Manager of the Kowloon-Canton Railway, in addition to his other duties, with effect from 7th July, 1927, and until further notice.

LITHUANIA (EXTRADITION) ORDER IN COUNCIL, 1927.

AT THE COURT AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE,

THE 26TH DAY OF MAY, 1927.

WHEREAS by the Extraongst other enacted that, where) to agendy:

VII, c. 15), it was amongst other things enacted that, where an arrangement has been made with any foreign State with respect to the surrender to such State of any fugitive criminals, His Majesty may, by Order in Council, direct that the said Acts shall apply in the case of such foreign State; and that His Majesty may, by the same or any subsequent Order, limit the operation of the Order, and restrict the same to fugitive criminals who are in or suspected of being in the part of His Majesty's dominions speci- fied in the Order, and render the operation thereof subject to such conditions, exceptions and qualifications as may be deemed expedient:

And whereas a Treaty was concluded on the 18th day of May, 1926, between His Majesty and the President of the Republic of Lithuania for the mutual extradition of fugitive criminals, which Treaty is in the terms following:-
