No. 232.-His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct under section 7 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, that the name of FREDERICK MUNFORD be added to the List of Authorized Architects published in Government Notification No. 408 of the 10th July, 1925.

No. 233.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Gunner THOMAS ADDIS MARTIN, to be Second-Lieutenant in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 11th April, 1927.

No. 234.—With reference to Government Notification No. 6 of the 6th January, 1927, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Dr. WILLIAM LESLIE THOMAS to be a member of the Advisory Committee of the Peak Hospital, during the absence on leave of Dr. STUart Séguin STRAHAN, M.B., B.Ch., or until further notice.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 235.-It is hereby notified that it is the intention of His Excellency the Governor to make an Order on the expiration of six months from the date hereof direct- ing the removal of all graves in those portions of Sections A, B, and C in Mount Caroline Cemetery, which are shown in blue on a plan deposited in the Office of the Sanitary Department in this Colony. Such Order will be made for the purpose of the execution of a public work namely the
