The rainfall for the month of December at the Botanical Gardens was 4ins. 66 on 12 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 3ins. 33 on 12 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 4ins. 64 on 5 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 961 at 15h. on the 8th.
The maximum squall velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 53 miles per hour at 4h. 18m. on the 17th.
