No. 105.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to accept the resignation by Captain GERALD HARDIE HALLAN BELL, 2nd Battalion, The King's Own Scottish Borderers, of his appointment as Adjutant in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 8th February, 1927.

No. 106. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to make the following appointment under the provisions of the Hong Kong Volunteer Regulations, 1920:--

Brevet-Major ROBERT ALEXANDER WOLFE-MURRAY, D.S.O., M.C., The Gordon Highlanders, to be Adjutant, with effect from 8th February, 1927.

No. 107. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. THOMAS WILLIAM AINSWORTH to act as an Assistant to the Secretary for Chinese Affairs, with effect from 19th February, 1927.

No. 108.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the Rev. Fr George Byrne, D.Ph., to be a Member of the Board of Education for a period of two years, with effect from 28th February, 1927.
