No. 2.
Rule made by the Governor in Council under section 36 of the Tramway Ordinance, 1902, Ordinance No. 10 of 1902, on the 5th day of January, 1927.
Appendix A to the rules made by the Governor in Council under section 36 of the Tramway Ordinance, 1902, which is set forth on page 290 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, and which specifies the places at which cars shall be brought to a stand-still, is hereby amended by the deletion of the words "Junction of Des Vœux Road Central and Jubilee Street, at Central Market", in lines 14 and 15, and the sub- stitution therefor of the words "Junction of Des Voeux Road Central and Queen Victoria Street". The foregoing rule shall come into operation on the 10th day of January, 1927.

APPOINTMENTS, &c.
No. 3. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under the provisions of Statute 4 of the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, to nominate the Reverend JOHN KIRK MACONACHIE as a member of the Court of the University of Hong Kong for a period of three years, with effect from this date.

No. 4.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. JAMES LIONEL KING, Assistant Supervisor in the Botanical and Forestry Department to be Forest Officer, with effect from 1st January, 1927.

No. 5.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under section 3 of the Dentistry Ordinance, 1914, Ordinance No. 16 of 1914, Dr. STUART SEGUIN STRAHAN, M.B., B.Ch. (Oxon.), to be a Member of the Dental Board, with effect from this date.

No. 6. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to re-appoint the follow- ing Medical Practitioners as members of the Committee to assist Government in the management of the Peak Hospital during the year 1927:-
