The visibility of lights is that in clear weather. Fog signals are sounded only in thick or foggy weather. The elevation given is the height of focal plane above mean H.W. springs.

Mariners and others are hereby notified that the period of the Flashing White Light on South Solitary Island was altered on 30th September, 1926.
