2. An “infected vessel" is one which on arrival outside Amoy has on board, or which has had on board within 10 days of her arrival, a case of cholera, typhus fever, yellow fever, plague, small-pox, scarlet fever, cerebro-spinal meningitis, or any other infectious disease, or a person who might reason- ably be suspected of infection by any of these diseases excepting where a fully qualified doctor is carried, or the dead body of a person other than one regularly shipped as freight, or any vessel of which one or more of the passengers or crew have died from any cause whatsoever since leaving last port.

Notice is hereby given that the Superintendent of Customs and the Treaty Power Consuls having declared Ningpo cholera-infected, all vessels arriving from that port on and after 12th August will be governed by the Sanitary Regulations for the port of Foochow

Notice is hereby given that, the Superintendent of Customs and the Treaty Power Consuls having declared the Port of Canton no longer cholera-infected, the Sanitary Regulations will cease to be enforced on vessels arriving from that port on and after 15th August, 1926.
