Authorities at Whampoa, he is to be ordered to hoist the Quarantine Flag and to refrain from any communication with the shore until the arrival of the Canton Port Medical Officer who will be sent for at once by the Customs. If a vessel anchors at Whampoa and is not regarded as a suspect she must nevertheless be regularly inspected at Canton by the Port Officer if she subsequently proceeds there.
(2.) Rule 2 under Special Regulations A is to be altered to read that the Canton
Quarantine Anchorage shall be immediately below Macao Fort.

Fog-gun Signal to be substituted whilst the Fog Signal Apparatus is being reconstructed.
Notice is hereby given that on and after the 15th August, 1926, the North-east Shantung Promontory Fog Signal will be a responding gun signal, as described on page 6 of the current List of Lights, Buoys, and Beacons, etc., on the Coast and Rivers of China."
The distinguishing interval for this station will be 1 minute.
