No. S. 189.-It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Office, Hongkong, at 11 a.m., on Friday, the 23rd day of July, 1926.

The Lot is sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent as a Building Lot, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 570 of 1924 and Special Condition 2 (a).

The amount to be spent in rateable improvements to the satisfaction of the District Officer, South, within two years from the date of sale is $400.

NOTICES TO MARINERS.

Under Ordinance 10 of 1899, section 22 (5), it is hereby ordered that during the Typhoon Season i.e. July 15th to October 15th each vessel over 60 tons burden laying in Hongkong Harbour or any other port of the Colony shall have on board the following crew:-

At least 1 Certificated Deck Officer, Deck crew and Engine Room crew sufficient

to work the anchors and to raise steam.

Breakers and discoloured water clearly seen 4th July by Master S. S. City of Canton extending from Lat. 12° 14' N., Long. 114° 25′ E. to Lat. 12° 25' N., Long. 114° 26' E.
