No. S. 184.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for King's College Furniture", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 19th day of July, 1926. The work consists of the manufacture of furniture (List 'C') for the new King's College.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For Form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICES TO MARINERS.
HARBOUR NOTIFICATION.
No. 6 of 1926.
Notice is hereby given that the Superintendent of Customs and the Representative of the Foreign Consular Body have declared the Port of Dairen to be infected with Small Pox.
All vessels arriving therefrom either at Canton or Whampoa on and after this date are to be governed by the Sanitary Regulations for the Port of Canton with two modi- fications as noted below.
CANTON, 27th May, 1926.
The following temporary modifications are to be noted:-
(1.) Steamers arriving from Dairen bound for Whampoa need not anchor at the Tide Pole Quarantine Anchorage but may proceed to Whampoa. On their arrival there they will be boarded by the Customs Boarding Officer, who will demand a statement in writing from the Captain of the vessel concerned as to whether there were any deaths on board after leaving Dairen and whether there are or were any cases of sickness. If the Captain's report is such as to arouse suspicion in the minds of the Customs Authorities at Whampoa, he is to be ordered to hoist the Quarantine Flag and to refrain from any communication with the shore until the arrival of the Canton Port Medical Officer who will be sent for at once by the Customs. If a vessel anchors at Whampoa. and is not regarded as a suspect she must nevertheless be regularly inspected at Canton by the Port Officer if she subsequently proceeds there.
(2.) Rule 2 under Special Regulations A is to be altered to read that the Canton
Quarantine Anchorage shall be immediately below Macao Fort.
