A vessel approaching the dredger against the tide, seeing another vessel approach- ing the dredger with the tide, should reduce speed or stop, in order to allow the vessel proceeding with the tide to pass and clear the dredger before she, the vessel proceeding against the tide, attempts to do so.
Attention is called to Harbour Notification No. 6 of 1924, which defines the signals. a dredger in operation shall exhibit.

Dredging.
Notice is hereby given that the Upper Swinging Berth will be closed for about five days commencing on June 15th, in order that necessary dredging operations may be carried out.
Mariners are further informed that dredging of the Tientsin Reach will also be undertaken as circumstances permit, and that caution must be exercised when approach- ing, and passing, the craft so employed.

No. S. 162.--It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Shaukiwan Road Improvements in Shaukiwan Village", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 12th day of July, 1926, for widening and improving Shaukiwan Road in Shaukiwan Village.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
