Woosung is such as to make navigation through the entrance of the Huangpu difficult. A similar flag will be exhibited at the mast head of the signal mast on the Customs property at Lay Road,
This signal is to be taken to mean that vessels intending to navigate the channel in question should proceed with extreme caution.

Junk sunk in the Eleventh Section, Shanghai Harbour.
Removal operations, Notifying.
With reference to Harbour Notification No. 5 of 1926, Notice is hereby given that operations are about to be commenced on the removal, by blasting, of the junk which lies sunk in the Eleventh Section of Shanghai Harbour, near No. 15 buoy of the Head- and-Stern moorings.

Pending the completion of the operations it is advisable that the berths between Nos. 14 and 15 and Nos. 15 and 16 buoys be not used for the accommodation of vessels. Until the operation of removal is completed all vessels passing the vicinity of the wreck shall proceed at dead slow speed.
