No. 688.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. EDWARD LEWIS AGASSIZ to be Official Receiver in Bankruptcy, with effect from 6th December, 1926.

No. 689.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. EDWARD IRVINE WYNNE-JONES to be District Officer in the Southern District of the New Territo- ries, with effect from this date.

No. 69).—His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to authorise Mr. EDWARD IRVINE WYNNE-JONES, under the provisions of section 58 of the New Territories Regula- tion Ordinance, 1910, Ordinance No. 34 of 1910, to hold a Small Debts Court in the New Territories at the following places :-
The charge rooms of the Police Stations at Tsun Wan, Tai O (Lantao), Tung Chung (Lantao), Cheung Chau, Yung Shu Wan in Lamma Island, and the office of the District Officer, South, situate in the building known as "The Government Offices" situate in Pedder Street, Victoria, Hong Kong, over the General Post Office.

No. 691.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. WALTER SCHOFIELD to act as Second Police Magistrate, with effect from the 15th December, 1926.

No. 692.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Private ALISTAIR MACKENZIE to be Second Lieutenant in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from the 14th December, 1926.

No. 693.—With reference to Government Notification No. 6 of the 8th January, 1926, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under sub-section 1 of section 2 of the Pilots Ordinance, 1904, Ordinance No. 3 of 1904, Mr. CHARLES JAMES THOMSON to be President of the Pilotage Board, in the place of the Assistant Harbour Master, until further notice, with effect from the 15th December, 1926.
