EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

No. 648.-It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor in Council has given directions for the rescission of the Order of the 20th May, 1926, published in the Gazette of the 21st May, 1926, as Government Notification No. 274, proclaiming Hoihow to be a place at which an infectious or contagious disease prevailed, and the same is hereby rescinded.

Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 23 of the Waterworks Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 16 of 1903, on the 25th November, 1926.

Regulation 1 of the regulations made under the Waterworks Ordinance, 1903, which regulation is set forth on pages 307 and 308 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, under the heading "General", is amended as follows:

The said regulation is renumbered as paragraph (1) of regulation 1 and the

following paragraphs are added at the end thereof:-

"(2) On and from the 1st day of January, 1927, the price of water supplied by meter either to shipping by waterboats, or over wharves or piers, or for building supplies, will be at the rate of one dollar per one thousand gallons.

(3) Until the end of the year 1926 the prices now current in respect of the supply of water referred to in paragraph (2) of this regulation will be in force."
