The rainfall for the month of October at the Botanical Gardens was 3ins. 44 on 12 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 2ins. 84 on 8 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 4ins. 86 on 7 days.

:

The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 660 at 15h. on the 9th.

The maximum squall velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 54 miles per hour at Oh. 35m. on the 15th.
