No. 583.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the Rev. George ReginALD LINDSAY to be a Member of the Board of Education for a period of two years, with effect from 27th October, 1926, vice Mr. BENJAMIN WYLIE whose term of service has expired.

No. 584.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under section 9 (3) of the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 9 of 1911, the Honour- able Mr. WILFRID THOMAS SOUTHORN, J.P., Colonial Secretary, to be Chairman of the Licensing Board, with effect from 29th October, 1926.

No. 585.- His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to accept the resigna- tion of Mr. CHALONER GRENVILLE ALABASTER, K.C., O.B.E., J.P., as an elected member of the Licensing Board and to appoint him, under section 9 (3) of the Liquors Consolida- tion Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 9 of 1911, Vice-Chairman of the Board, with effect from 29th October, 1926.

No. 586.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Dr. GEORGE WILLIAM POPE to act as Medical Officer of Health, with effect from 25th October, 1926.
