The rainfall for the month of September at the Botanical Gardens was 17ins. 82 on 18 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 15ins. 12 on 16 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 11ins. 78 on 12 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 344 at 6h on the 27th.
The maximum squall velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 101 miles per hour at 8h. 15m. on the 27th.
