Rule made by the Governor in Council under section 18 of the Prisons Ordinance, 1899, Ordinance No. 4 of 1899, on the 16th day of September, 1926.
The rules made by the Governor in Council under section 18 of the Prisons Ordi- nance, 1899, on the 21st day of May, 1925, which rules, excepting amendments appearing in Government Notification No. 409 of 1926, are set out on pages 181 to 257 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, are hereby further amended by the insertion, next after rule 124, of the following rule :-
905.
"124A. The Medical Officer shall take such action and employ such treatment as he may consider necessary or expedient for the prevention as far as possible, or mitigation, of any epidemic, endemic, contagious or infec- tious disease in the prison."

No. 507.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of section 10 of the Medical Registration Ordinance, 1884, Ordinance No. 1 of 1884, Dr. STUART SÉGUIN STRAHAN to be a Member of the Medical Board, with effect from 14th September, 1926.

Order under section 92 (8) of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, made by the Governor on the 13th day of September, 1926.
WHEREAS I, Sir CECIL CLEMENTI, Knight Commander of the Most Distin- guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, deem it expedient for the execution of a public purpose to remove all graves in that portion of Sections A, B, C, and Plague Trenches in Hau Pui Lung Cemetery shown on a plan referred to in Government Notification No. 164 of 26th March, 1926, NOW, I by this Order under my hand by virtue of the power in that behalf vested in me by section 92 (8) of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, and all other powers thereto me enabling DO HEREBY ORDER AND DIRECT that the said graves be removed to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works either by the Public Works Department or by the Tung Wah Hospital should the Board of Direction desire to under-
