Regulation made by the Governor in Council under sections 3 and 5 of the Tobacco Ordinance, 1916, Ordinance No. 10 of 1916, on the 26th day of August, 1926.
The First Schedule to the Tobacco Ordinance, 1916, set forth on pages 2444, 2445 and 2446 of Volume V of the Ordinances of Hongkong, 1844-1923, is hereby amended by the addition, under the sub-heading "Retailers licence", of the following regula- tion :-
"2. Every person licensed to sell any tobacco by retail shall, at all times during the subsistence of his licence, exhibit such licence in a conspicuous position on the licensed premises."

Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 95 of the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 9 of 1911, this 26th day of August, 1926.
The conditions of Chinese Restaurant Licences contained in Form No. 10 of the First Schedule to the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1911, are hereby amended by the addition of the following condition immediately after condition 10: --
"11. No person other than persons of Asiátic race shall, unless authorised by the Captain Superintendent of Police, be permitted on the premises of any Chinese restaurant situated in any of the following streets, namely:-
Amoy Street, Anton Street, Arsenal Street, Cross Street, Gresson Street, Landale Street, Lee Tung Street, Li Chit Street, Luen Fat Street, McGregor Street, Praya East west of its junction. with Wanchai Road, Queen's Road East from Arsenal Street to its junction with Wanchai Road, Sampan Street, Ship Street, Spring Garden, Lane, Stone Nullah Lane, Swatow Street, Tai Wo Street, Tai Wong Streets East and West, Tai Yuen Street, Tien Poa Street, Triangle Street, Wanchai Road from Queen's Road East to Praya East.
Provided that the Secretary for Chinese Affairs may in his absolute discretion waive this condition in respect of any premises, and cause it to be deleted from the licence granted in respect of such premises."

Order made by the Governor in Council under section 12 of the Rope Company's Tramway Ordinance, 1901, Ordinance No. 21 of 1901, this 26th day of August, 1926.
In the exercise of the powers vested in him by the provisions of the Rope Company's Tramway Ordinance, 1901, and otherwise His Excellency the Governor in Council is pleased to order and it is hereby ordered and declared that the duration of the rights, powers and privileges granted, made and maintained under the provisions of the Rope Company's Tramway Ordinance, 1901, shall be extended for a period of one year from the 15th day of December, 1926.
