EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.
No. 449.—It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor in Council has given directions for the rescission of the Order of the 26th April, 1926, published in the Gazette of the 30th April, 1926, as Government Notification No. 225, proclaiming Saigon to be a place at which an infectious or contagious disease prevailed, and the same is hereby rescinded.

Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 6 of the Pharmacy and Poisons Ordinance, 1916, Ordinance No, 9 of 1916, this 26th day of August, 1926.
Regulation 9 of the regulations set forth on pages 736-739 of the Regulations of Hongkong, 1844-1925, under the heading "Sale, possession, importation, and exporta- tion of poisons", is hereby amended by the addition at the end of such regulation of the following:-

'Every registered person and every licensed person shall, on his registration' or on the grant to him of a licence, as the case may be, and during the month of October in cach year during which his registration or licence subsists, and on the termination of his registration or licence, forward to the Principal Civil Medical Officer particulars in writing, headed Pharmacy and Poisons", of the name and address of such registered or licensed person, together with the address, if his registration or licence subsists, of the premises in which poisons are kept by him. Further every person who keeps open shop for retailing drugs shall, on opening shop for such purpose, and during the month of October in each year during which he continues to retail drugs, and on his ceasing to retail drugs, notify in writing the Principal Civil Medical Officer in that behalf, and of the name and address of such retailer. Every such retailer shall also, if required by the Principal Civil Medical Officer, forthwith furnish him with a full, true and complete list of the drugs stocked or retailed by such retailer, and permit the Principal, Civil Medical Officer, and any person authorised by him in writing in that behalf, to inspect and examine the stock of drugs of such retailer, and the books and documents relating thereto."

Order made by the Governor in Council under the Importation and Exportation Ordinance, 1915, Ordinance No. 32 of 1915, this 26th day of August, 1926.
The regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 4 of the above Ordinance on the 22nd day of June, 1925, which was published in the Gazette Extra- ordinary of the 22nd June, 1925, as Notification No. 367, and which, as far as now operative, is set out on page 727 of the Regulations of Hongkong, 1841-1925, under the heading Exportation of coin and bank notes", shall cease to have force and effect on and from the 1st day of September, 1926.
