Notes: (1) Projection based on a daily workload of 2,300 applications as adopted by British Passport Project Team.

(2) Projection based on estimated growth rate by TD(P)/TD (0) Sections.

(3) Inactive records of HKBDTC passports and SCNIs from 1945 to 1978 are kept in paper files and will be destroyed since they

fall outside the requirement for records only after 1 July 1985.

(4) Assumed to be the same as 1991/92 as the workloads for the past 5 years are found to be very constant.

(5) Comprises 1,840 inactive records from 1945 to 1978 and 130 applications finalised since May 1988 which are kept in paper

files. Applications prior to May 1988 are kept in microfilm form.

(6) Inactive records from 1963 to 1978 are kept in paper files and will be destroyed since they fall outside the requirement

for records only after 1 Jan 1983.

(7) Projection based on the traditional 10% growth rate as adopted by the N & N Section.
