1. Todays Steering Committee agreed that before we approach HKG formally for PTG permission to bring the Chamber of Commerce into the new building as quote tenants unquote it would be sensible to double check that we are obliged to do so.
2. I will be travelling from Osaka to Bangkok later this month and have arranged to stop over in Hong Kong 25/26 July to discuss the matter with those concerned. Grateful you kindly confirm whether this will be convenient. I would like to meet the Chamber of Commerce representative to discuss in principal the oasis, chi Legal and Financial oasis upon which the Chamber might occupy
part of the new building and to call on Johnson Stokes and Masters to discuss the relevant Special Condition 13 of the PTG.

While in HK I would also like to meet Mr Holloway of Swires to consider the legal implications of the emergency services access at the new building where these impinge on the adjacent public parkland.
If you can accept this visit I would arrive from Osaka Sunday, 25 July and go to the Wharney Hotel. Am booked to travel on to Bangkok Monday, 26 July at 1830. If the three appointments cannot be managed in time available I might defer departure to Tuesday, but hope that will not prove necessary.
