The current total gross floor areas of the buildings are 16,642m2 and of this the British Council will occupy 6,142m2 which is 37% of the whole. It therefore seems appropriate and fair for the British Council to contribute the above percentage for the ground rent and services charges; based on the above figures this amounts to £131, 720 per annum.
