Local Coordinating Committee Meeting : 25 March 1993
1. Fortuitously, for me anyway, a copy of your minute of 31 March arrived just as I was about to put pen to paper. I circulated your paper to all members of the committee with the view that this recorded the main points of the meeting and that, unless recipients had any comments/views that you and OED be informed that we were content for your minute to be taken as the minutes of the meeting.
2. It was agreed that we can use your minute as the record with a couple of amendments :
(i) Para 1 (b) to read
Marker put down by the BC to say that they are not in a position to contribute cash towards the cost overrun of the new building, but that they have identified further space savings; "
(ii) Para 5 line 3 to read

(iii) Para 6 For the purpose of a record of the meeting, first sentence of paragraph 6 to be deleted.

(iv) Para 8 second and third replaced by a single sentence

"The LCC made the point that OED ought not to pay out £250,000 if fault (and therefore responsibility) rested with Swires. Funds are tight and we could use the £250,000 elsewhere. "
