Paris telnos 167 and 368 deal with the main action

point which arose from John Macgregor's and my call on Mme Masse-Dessen, our lawyer in the Saniman case, yesterday evening, 21 April.

Mme Masse-Dessen also asked for clarification of the following points, in order to respond to the observations of Saniman's lawyer (of which an English translation is

enclosed):

a.

What exactly is the status of Hong Kong for internatiumai relatione? 10 Hong Yang novorod by the UK/France extradition treaty of 1876?

b.

If extradited to Hong Kong, will Saniman's gife be in danger? Do we have any information on the murders of witnesses raised in section 1.2?
