Dear Matthew,
EXTRADITION OF RAIS BIN SANIMAN
1.
2.
(29)
Your letter of 22 April.
He
I copied your letter to Hong Kong. Graham Harris telephoned me from the (Hong Kong) Attorney General's Office, to say that he had received the letter and that all the points raised by Madame Masse-Dessen were already under consideration in Hong Kong and that a response would issue very soon. undertook to copy to me the response sent to Paris (presumably to the French lawyers acting for the Hong Kong Government). I will show this to Miss Brooks to check, especially on 2a, that there is no discrepancy between our views and those of Hong Kong.
3. We have sent to (our) Attorney General the French translation prepared by you of his letter to the French Minister of Justice. They will be sending it via us to go to you by bag. Grateful if you would pass it on once it arrives.
Yours ever,
