The evidence of DRS' role in the offences is fully explained in the extradition request and the memo from Michael Will which was sent to you in February 1983. Whilst sitting on BMFL's Board, making funds available for lending to Carrian DRS was the person in BBMB who received all money market reports from BMFL, concealing the advances to Carrian. He did nothing to draw the attention of BBMB to the fact that those money market reports were inaccurate. (See witnesses evidence in page 465-807).
With regard to DRS' letter of 31 October 1983, the Company Secretary of BBMB was instructed by the Chairman of BBMB to investigate the allegations set out in that letter. A copy of his report to the board which serves to disprove all but the penultimate paragraph of the allegations is attached.
