1. A representative of Hong Kong's Legislative Council has written to the Secretary of State seeking reassurance that Schengen member countries now granting visa free access will continue to do so. Grateful therefore to know the outcome of the meeting referred to in TUR.

2. You will have noted (Paris telno 833) that Hong Kong is not included on a Schengen Common Visa List. But we still need to establish whether the Greeks plan any change to the present visa free arrangements - - and to take them through the case for maintaining the status quo if they are considering changes.
