the fees for entry visa applications are indeed covered by the Consular Fees Order and cover the costs as set out in paragraph 1 above.

the cost of referring such applications by telex and the costs of replying to such referrals by telex are covered by the Consular Fees Order;

an agreement has been made between FCO and Dependent Territories such as Hong Kong to reimburse the costs incurred by Dependent Territories replying to such applications by telex.

If no such agreement exists I should be grateful if you could confirm that the FCO will purse the matter with the Hong Kong Immigration Department. In the meantime please contact me and/or Brian James (271 - 8518) if any further information is required.
