FOREIGN RIGHT OF ABODE SCHEMES
Hong Kong citizens can apply to come to Argentina as follows;
'Person of Independent Means'. This involves applying for a visa at the Argentine Consulate in Hong Kong, and depositing US $ 30,000.00 (Thirty thousand dollars). This sum is returned with interest, 3 months after arrival in Argentina.
'Work Permit'. A visa will be issued by the Argentine Consulate to anyone coming to work here having been issued with a contract of employment from an Argentine company.
Anyone is free to travel to Argentina, and apply for Residence Status and Document of Identity. They will require a legalised birth certificate, good conduct certificate and passport. A Document of Identity is need to be able to work here.
