As you know the above represents a problem continuing representations not least on behalf of war widows whose husbands very much died in a British cause. Some years back the Foreign Affairs Select Committee was very sympathetic to representations it received in Hong Kong about this although I do not Ʌthe latest situation and what if anything we will be able to do for them within the system as it operates.

If you could let me know the situation I will be most grateful.
