We have just seen

small number of widows of

died defending Hong Kong against the Japanese during

the Second World War.

It seems to be a truly cynical injustice for the Butish government to be handing out thousands of passports to wealthy professionals allowing them to take advantage of sanctuary in this country, whilst denying a similar life-line to twenty-four elderly ladies whose their lives defending British territory
