something more should be done for the ethnic minorities and,

especially, for the war widows. A number of MPs feel similarly. We expect that support for this will grow at Westminster. In order to keep a foot in the door, and possibly

prepare for another concerted effort to change the Home Secretary's mind ahead of a Parliamentary debate, I think it is worth responding to Mr Wardle's letter.
