1. Mr Cullen's minute of 24 August commissioned briefing on nationality questions for Lady Chalker and the delegates to the CPA annual conference. CCD has since moved the deadline up to close of play on 1 September.

Since Emily Lau will be in Limassol (Hong Kong telno 1366 refers) and may lobby the British delegation on nationality questions, I have included a line to take for Lady Chalker. The background section is designed for use by both Lady Chalker and the delegation.
