Thank you for the material which you have provided us on proceedings in the LegCo Sub-Committee looking at "ethnic minorities". You will presumably have seen our telno 76 giving an account of the call on the Secretary of State by Emily Lau, Christine Loh and Dr C H Leong on 28 January. I now enclose for your information notes of two meetings by LegCo members with Mr Wardle, a Home Office Minister.

I would also be grateful if you would let any interested colleagues know that I shall be visiting Hong Kong in the second half of March. I shall be asking the British Trade Commission to organise a programme for me and I hope that we will have a chance to meet while I am over.
